Welcome to the website of the Southwestern Pennsylvania League of Apparition Technologists A.K.A. SPLAT.

SPLAT is a team of paranormal researchers, or as some might say "ghost hunters". We're based out of beautiful Johnstown, Pennsylvania, best known for it's historic steel making and the tragic 1889 flood. We aim to uncover the mysteries of paranormal activity and assist others in their understanding or fear of the supernatural.

Whether ghost hunting, trying to record EVPs and taking spirit photography while investigating possible haunted locations, we attempt to cover it all. We try to take a unique and fresh approach in trying to combine science, new technology and theology with paranormal research.

SPLAT aims to take a scientific approach and does not use Ouija boards, psychics, mediums or perform seances to aid us in investigations.

We are always on the lookout to test new theories and ideas. We are also willing to collaborate with other teams and aid in their investigations.
